Puslinch

Aberfoyle, Morriston, & Puslinch Area

The Township of Puslinch is located directly south of the City of Guelph and east of the City of Cambridge with highway 401 bisecting the Township from east to west.

 

Villages in Puslinch include Aberfoyle, Aikensville, Arkell, Badenoch, Crieff, Glen Christie, Killean, Paddock’s Corners, Morriston, Corwhin, Downey, Puslinch and Puslinch Lake.

 

Aberfoyle is the administrative centre for Puslinch Township and is home to the municipality’s administrative offices and fire station.  It is located at the headwaters of Mill Creek, approximately ten kilometres south of Guelph.

 

Interesting Fact:  Puslinch Lake, located in the southwest corner of Puslinch Township, is North America’s largest kettle lake covering 160 hectares or 380 acres.
