The Township Wellington North is nestled in a picturesque rural setting and located at the north end of Wellington County.

 

Anchored by the communities of Arthur in the south and Mount Forest in the north, the Township also encompasses the charming hamlets of Conn, Damascus, Farewell, Gordonville, Monck, Petherton, Riverstown and Tollgate.

 

The hamlet of Kenilworth is the geographical heart of the Township and the location of the Municipal Administrative Centre.

 

Created in 1999 through the amalgamation of the Village of Arthur, the Town of Mount Forest and the Townships of Arthur, West Luther, West Garafraxa and Peel, the Township of Wellington North proudly celebrated its 10th Anniversary in 2009.
