In 2017, GDAR entered a 5-year partnership with Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington to build Cityview Village, a project to build affordable housing for 28 local families and the biggest Habitat project to date.
This year was the final year of that 5 year commitment. GDAR has donated over $85,000 to Habitat in total, not to count the countless REALTOR® volunteer hours through Build Days and other events.
Cityview Village is complete and 28 families are living in their new homes. Our Community Care program is made possible by you. For every sold MLS® Listing each year, GDAR allocates $4 towards our REALTORS® Community Care fund and chooses a shelter-based charity to support on behalf of our members.
